Berger & Montague is investigating a potential nationwide
class action against manufacturers of front-load washer machines as
a result of a possible common design defect that is causing the
spider assembly in many of these appliances to corrode and
eventually break apart. Because the spider assembly is an
essential part of these washing machines, connecting the clothes
drum to the spinning motor, when it breaks the drum either will no
longer spin or spins off-balance, causing loud banging noises.
If you had to repair or replace a front-load washing machine as
a result of a corroded or broken spider assembly, or you believe
your washer is currently experiencing this problem, you may be
entitled to financial compensation. To discuss your legal rights,
including the right to file or participate in a class action,
please fill out our contact form on the right.
