Berger & Montague is proud to sponsor the American Antitrust Institute's 9th Annual Private Antitrust Enforcement Conference on November 18, 2015, at the National Press Club in Washington DC.

Managing shareholder Eric Cramer will moderate a panel titled "Developments in Antitrust Cases Against Sports Leagues". The panel will discuss several major antitrust class actions that have been waged against major sports leagues in the last few years, hitting some of the world's most powerful organizations with suits that challenge the economic underpinnings of their businesses and raise questions about whether the mechanisms by which they are organized or developed improperly suppressed competition in violation of the antitrust laws.

Mr. Cramer is currently co-lead counsel representing a proposed class of similarly situated current and former UFC professional combatants, alleging that the plaintiffs are victims of the UFC's illegal scheme to eliminate its competition in the sport of MMA and suppress compensation for UFC Fighters from bouts and fighter identities and likenesses.representing a proposed class of similarly situated current and former UFC professional combatants, alleging that the plaintiffs are victims of the UFC's illegal scheme to eliminate its competition in the sport of MMA and suppress compensation for UFC Fighters from bouts and fighter identities and likenesses.
