Managing Shareholder Sherrie R. Savett has been named the 2016 Female Lawyer of the Year for Pennsylvania by Corporate Vision Magazine.

In an interview with Corporate Vision Magazine, Ms. Savett states, "I undertake complex commercial litigation in many areas, with my core focuses being securities, False Claims Act litigation (also known as whistleblower or qui tam litigation), and consumer fraud litigation…When representing my clients, I apply a combination of intellect, common sense, perceptiveness, and sheer determination to win my cases…Going forward, my future goals are to continue to right the wrongs presented to me by my clients and to pass on any wisdom I have obtained over the past 40 years of practicing law." Ms. Savett has practiced in the area of securities litigation and class actions since 1975. Several securities class actions in which Ms. Savett served as lead counsel are among the 100 largest securities class actions settled in the history of the federal securities laws. She has advanced investor protection by helping to establish several significant legal precedents. In addition, she actively participated in one of the largest groups of qui tam settlements to date, which involved Medicare and Medicaid fraud in connection with Average Wholesale Pricing.

Ms. Savett serves or has served as lead or co-lead counsel or as a member of the executive committee in a large number of securities and consumer class actions in federal courts across the country.

Ms. Savett is widely recognized as a top female leader in the profession by local and national legal rating organizations. She speaks and writes frequently on securities litigation, False Claims Act/qui tam litigation, consumer class actions and complex litigation, and is acknowledged for her leadership in the business and civic community.
