In the 2003-2004 issue of Chambers USA's American Leading Business Lawyers, Berger & Montague was identified as one of the top antitrust firms in the City of Philadelphia, and the chair of the firm's antitrust department, H. Laddie Montague, Jr. was singled out as one of the City's top antitrust attorneys. Chambers USA specifically "endorsed [the Berger firm] for its work in complex securities, antitrust and mass torts," and reported that the firm is "[c]onsidered by its competitors as a 'leading light on the plaintiffs' side.'"  This "client's guide" also noted that Mr. Montague is held in the "highest regard" by his peers in the bar.
