National Constitution Center Commences Daniel Berger Speaker Series as Part of its Year-Long 2008 Election Program, "The Power of We" 10/3/08 The National Constitution Center (NCC), located blocks from Independence Hall, in Philadelphia, has held a year-long series of events celebrating the 2008 election. The series, "Election '08: The Power of We," includes a wide range of on-site public programs, community and national outreach, and an exhibition. As part of the speakers program, the NCC is host to the Daniel Berger Speaker Series, a set of lectures by prominent public figures addressing matters of national importance. Mr. Berger, a Senior Partner and a Managing Shareholder of Berger & Montague, has personally introduced two of these lectures. His first introduction is from the events for September 16th, when the NCC hosted Elizabeth Edwards, who spoke about the presidential candidates’ views on healthcare. A second introduction is from the events for September 22nd, when Mr. Berger introduced David Ignatius, who served as moderator for a discussion with Zbigniew Brzezinski and Brent Scrowcroft. They spoke about their new book, America and the World, as well as foreign policy matters and the upcoming election. To read more about the "Power of We" series, click here.
